We were so blessed to have both Grandparents at our house on Christmas Eve!

We were so blessed this past year and we had such a fun Christmas. We played lots of games and spent alot of time together (my favorite thing) The kids are at such fun ages. I wish I could just freeze them at these ages right now! My parents stayed at our house this year and it was so fun to have them with us for 5 days straight. Dave's parents came out and had dinner Christmas Eve and came back the next morning to watch the kids open presents we started at 5:30 am!

Jackson ("JD" as he prefers) turned 11 on December 11th this year - he said it was his golden birthday - whatever that means!

11 of my favorite things about JD:

1. He has a ton of friends and they are all good kids. We had to narrow his list from 25 to 14 kids to invite to his party!

2. He is so nice to his sisters

3. He is so nice and thoughtful and helpful to his mom

4. He is a great athlete and enjoys all sports (especially baseball - my fave)!

5. He is a great student and gets really good grades!

I am so grateful this Thanksgiving for a wonderful husband and kids my Heavenly Father has blessed me with. It was such a wonderful day - we spent the whole day with my family, so fun to have such a big family. I am so blessed.

I love when you catch a moment like this. I looked out the window and saw these two jumping together holding onto each other. They were having such a great time and getting along (which doesn't always happen). I hope my girls are as good of friends when they are grown up as I am with my sisters. Raking Leaves

While the kids were off track in Oct/Nov, we went to visit my parents for a couple of days. Its so much fun to visit with, them play games, relax, go shopping etc. Well one day we were in Logan doing some shopping and Brinley and Ashlyn started arguing and fighting I gave them a warning and they continued so I told them they owed me a extra job/chore when we got back to Grandma & Grandpa's house.

Well when we got back I got distracted and had forgotten. They went in the garage and got the rakes and started raking for their job. It made me so proud that I didn't have to enforce - they knew they had to do it and did it.

My parents have a very large yard with ALOT of trees and ALOT of leaves. They were out there for probably 45 minutes - so I went out and helped for a little bit and told them that was enough. They said we want to keep going we want to have a big pile to jump in. So then Jackson went out and Payton and they all started raking and making a big pile. So the punishment turned into a really fun time and a great time for me to get some fun pictures too.

It got dark so we went out the next day and finished bagging the leaves, it ended up being 20 bags of leaves. Ashlyn said to me - Mom, we did service today huh? I said, yes we helped Grandma and Grandpa alot, my dad gave all the kids a dollar and they were soooo excited about that. I was so proud of them for all their hard work and for having such a good attitude.

This year Jackson wanted to play football. He has always played fall baseball, but he wanted to try football so we decided to let him try it. He really liked it and he ended up being real good too!! On the first game of the pre-season he got hit real hard by 3 linemen and got a concussion. So he missed 3 games and 3 weeks of practices. We all made some really great friends and had a blast. His number was 23 he played mostly D-line on defense and running back on offense.

Ashlyn's Baptism

Ashlyn was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on September 4th, 2010. It was a beautiful day we had a luncheon after at our house. On the evening before Ashlyn jumped out of a swing and landed on her face as you can see in the first picture she scraped up her face pretty good. She is such an active child I should have wrapped her in bubble wrap!!!

July 12, 2010 (Monday)

For Payton's birthday we went to Build a Bear and she made a puppy. She named her Abby. It was funny because she was actually pretty scared through the whole process. The machine they fill the animals is kind of loud and she cried the whole time. When we finally got her calmed down she didn't want anything to do with the puppy for quite a while. She finally liked it and we were off to McDonalds (her favorite) anytime we pass 1 she says " I hungry"! It was a fun night!

Ashlyn - Stadium of Fire

This year Ashlyn had the opportunity to dance at the Stadium of Fire in Provo. It was such a neat fun opportunity for her. It was a lot of work - alot of practices and alot of time but she loved every minute of it. I am so proud of her for how hard she worked and what a great job she did. It was truly amazing experience to see how well the dancers did.

Ashlyn & Brinley had their dance performance on June 7th. They both did such a great job and worked so hard and practiced so much I am so proud of them both. I absolutely love the place they take dance from - the teacher is so wonderful and I can't believe how much they both learned and got so much better in just a short year.

Arizona Trip

The end of June Dave had to drive to Arizona for work so I flew down on Thursday and met him and we spent the weekend in Arizona with out the kids. It was so much fun, I was so surprised how much we saw and did in the short weekend. I guess when you aren't toting around 4 kids doing up carseats etc you can do a lot more! We had dinner at a fun place Papadeaux's for dinner and we tried Aligator - it was interesting! The next morning we got up early (because Phoenix is 105 degrees in the day) and hiked Camelback Mountain. It was a really hard hike but worth the amazing view of the Phoenix area! That day later for lunch we went to TGIF it overlooks Chase stadium where the Diamondbacks play. It was so cool. Then went and toured the Arizona Cardinals stadium. Dave's Mom helped with the kids the first night and his brother Mark stayed with our kids for the weekend which was so nice of him and the kids had a blast too!

Idaho Falls Baseball Tournament

Jackson had a tournament in Idaho Falls June 4th - 5th. We left on Thursday night and dropped Payton off at my Mom & Dad's then left Friday morning for Idaho. It was nice to have a little break from Payton and miss her.

Jackson's team played 2 games on Friday and 3 on Saturday - so it was really busy but sooooo fun. They beat every team they played by at least 10 runs, and they only gave up 4 runs the whole tournament. They all played amazing!! They ended up winning the tournament and got the 1st place plaque - Congrats Havoc!! Jackson pitched the championship game and at the end of the inning the umpire came over to me and gave me the ball - he said "mom" your son just pitched a 3 pitch inning - it doesn't happen very often so here is the ball write on it and keep it! It was so nice of him and so special. I am so proud of how hard Jackson works and practices to be the best he can - I am so proud of all the boys on his team also - they all are such good boys and I am so glad he is surrounded by such great kids.

Payton had a great time and got spoiled by Grandma & Grandpa, we really did miss her - she is so much fun to have around but I was so thankful to my mom and dad for keeping her it really was so nice.

PAYTON 20 MONTHS

Payton keeps us busy just by being her! I love that child to death but she wears me out!! My sister said to me the 0ther day - I don't think she knows how to walk and its so true she just runs from one thing to the other all day long. Which means I get nothing done ever!!! She is so much fun though and I am very grateful that she takes a good long afternoon nap everyday to allow me to catch up a little. I am just trying to enjoy each moment because it is becoming very real to me how fast the time goes with these cuties.

ASHLYN AGE 7

Ashlyn broke her finger a couple of weeks ago, its feeling alot better now. She is taking a Jazz/HipHop class and she is loving it. She is really good at it too. Ash is very determined and if she puts her mind to something watch out!! She wanted to do the front splits and stretched and worked until she can do it! I am so proud of her and how hard she works at everything! We just love the dance studio the girls are taking their dance classes. Its Tiffany Dance Co. - I highly reccomend it! She gets to dance at the Stadium of Fire this year!!!! I am so excited for her its going to be a really neat experience for her! Even though its at BYU!! ha ha!!

BRINLEY AGE 5

Brinley is taking a Jazz/Tumbling class. She has had so much fun and has gotten so much better. She really picks up the dances quick and practices alot at home. They have a dance recital on June 7th and the costumes are so darling - their teacher does a great job finding the cutest ones!

Jackson is playing on a superleague baseball team HAVOC. He is having so much fun and is improving his game so much this year. This picture was taken after a tournament they played in and they had to play 3 games that day!! We ended up taking 2nd place and they got medals that are around their necks. He has 5 awesome coaches that are so dedicated and love these boys so much. Its a good thing we like baseball so much and the families of the boys he plays with - we spend alot of time together!!

GO HAVOC!!

This was the first game of the tournament in Mesquite on Thursday. First time up to bat he hit a home run!!! The outfield was artificial turf - so if the ball got past the outfielder it just kept rolling, 2 others got a HR. It was a fun game.

We had such a fun time this year at the March Madness tournament. This is Jackson's 2nd year playing for the Havoc team they won 2 games and lost 2 games - better than last year we lost all 4. We had such a blast again this year. My parents were able to go again this year with us and the kids really enjoyed the 1 on 1 time with Grandma & Grandpa. So fun to build those lasting memories. We went down on a Tuesday and came home Sunday, and ran our legs off every single second.

We had so much fun this year again. We went up to a cabin in Bear Lake this year. It was a really nice cabin and luckily we had good weather to get there. We stayed Thursday to Sunday this year and the time still went by so fast. We played lots of games, went sledding, watched a slide show my neice Madi put together, ate, ate, ate and ate some more! My camera was having issues so I didnt get a lot of pictures unfortunately. I was never very close to any of my cousins growing up - so I am so glad my kids are close to their cousins and aunts and uncles. We look forward to this weekend just as much as Christmas!! Love it!

Christmas Eve

We had the best Christmas ever! Every year I think that but it just keeps getting better! We had so much fun. My family growing up always had a tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve, which I always loved - it was always pajamas and we knew it! We have carried that on & its great because everyone has really cute pajamas for all the pictures Christmas morning! On Christmas eve day we decorated a gingerbread house, then that evening Dave's parents and his brother Mark came over and we had dinner. We almost had to take Mark to insta care - he ate a cookie that was next to one that had peanut or peanut butter and he is allergic but we gave him some benadryl and he felt better a couple of hours later- a little scarey though!

Christmas morning the kids woke up about 5:45 am - they got what they wanted and were very happy. Both of our parents came that morning to see the kids and what they got. We had a very fun day of playing with all the toys and games all day long! We even skipped lunch we were having too much fun. We went to Dave's parents that evening and had an awesome dinner and opened presents and were spoiled by his parents. We are so blessed to have such great kids that are very grateful for everything and both of us have such great families that love us and treat us so well. Here's to a great 2009 and looking forward to a great 2010!

10th Birthday party

Wow! How fast time goes when you are having fun! Jackson was born on December 11th 1999 at 6:48 pm. I was in labor with him for 2 days. It was not a very fun couple of days and after I had him I told Dave he might be an only child!! HA HA!! He weighed 7 lbs and 13 oz. He had a huge head which contributed to the hard delivery!!

Jackson was always a great baby, toddler, and kid. Very rarely did he ever get in trouble. I always tell him the reason we only had one boy is because He is the best! He couldn't be topped. He always had a bruise/scraped spot on his head. He would fall and wouldn't catch himself with his arms so his head would hit the same spot everytime. (I think his head was a bit heavy too!!) He has been such a fun kid to have in our family and I feel so blessed to be his mom. I hope the next 10 years don't go this fast!

Top ten things about Jackson:

1. He loves playing sports - especially baseball

3. He is the sweetest brother to his sisters.

10. He loves to swim and loves the water. We lived in our condo with a pool for the first 4 years of his life and we were out there almost every day in the summer.

A Quick Update

I am the worst at keeping up my blog! So much has happened this summer. We have been so busy and it hasn't felt like a priority! This is a picture of us when we went to the cabin over Labor Day weekend. The kids are growing like weeds and I am trying to stop them from getting so big so fast.

Jackson is 9 and is a giant he is almost as tall as me. He has been very busy playing baseball all spring and summer. He played on a super league team called the Havoc. He also played Herriman on the Dodgers team. Needless to say it kept us busy and there were times he had 3 games in one saturday. We won't be doing that again! He is now playing fall ball on a team called the Brahma Bulls. He has become such a great little player. He really loves pitching and we are so proud of him. He started the 4th grade in August and is a great student.

Ashlyn turned 7 in August and is growing up and getting so big too. She is such a great helper to me. I don't know what I would do without her. She started this fall in a jazz/tumbling dance class on Wednesday evenings. She is having a lot of fun and it is so much fun to watch her. She started the 2nd grade and is a great student. She is loving school. We are so proud of her.

Brinley is 4 and started preschool. She is also taking a jazz/tumbling dance class on Tuesdays. She is really enjoying it. It is so much fun to have her at home with me. She is a very patient, helpful, loving little girl and she teaches Payton so much.

Payton is now 14 months old and keeps us very busy. She is a very active little child. She started walking at 11 months so now she is practically running! She is so funny, smart, active, helpful in her own way(cleans out my cupboards DAILY!) We are so blessed to have her in our family.

As you can see we are so blessed with 4 of the greatest kids in the world!

Fun times in St. George

This year Jackson is playing on a Super League baseball team called Herriman Havoc. We are so excited for him to have this opportunity to improve his baseball skills. He really loves baseball and this team is allowing him to learn alot more and he has great coaches and a great team. The team played in a tournament March 19 & 20th in Mesquite NV and St. George. We were excited to have a couple of days in the nice weather and enjoy some baseball. Jackson had a great time playing and played his little heart out, its so fun to see the progress he makes each year. The weather was so nice 80-85 degrees the whole time! We were very lucky to have both of our parents come down with us and Dave's sister and brother go to all the games and have a great time with us.

Brinley turned 4 on March 1st. I can't believe how fast that time has gone. She is such a sweet, loving, helpful, fun, adorable little girl.

10 things about Brinley:

1. She sucks her thumb.

2. She has a favorite blankie (she calls is "dirty blankie")

3. She didn't crawl until 11 months.

4. She didn't walk until 15 months.

5. She has a very easy going personality.

6. She is a BIG Daddy's girl.

7. She had her tonsils out in October & hasn't had strep since. (yeah!)

8. She has a very good imagination.

9. She loves to sing and whistle all the time.

10. She has naturally curly hair.

For the superbowl this year we went to my sister Wendy's house they just finished their basement. When I went upstairs to check on the kids I found them dancing with each other! It was so cute.

A couple of weeks ago my mom called and had taken my Dad to the hospital. He was having chest pain. They admitted him to ICU and monitored him overnight. We packed up and went to Logan to make sure everything was ok. He is doing much better now - thank goodness! My dad has had quite a few health problems for about 10 years. It scared me to think about losing him. I look up to my dad so much. He is such a great dad and Grandpa I can't wait until they move down to Salt Lake this fall and we can spend alot more time with him and my mom. It really made me think - none of us know how much time we have! I have tried to think of that everyday. There are lots of days that I am frustrated with this or that or Dave or the kids and I have been TRYING to be better at appreciating each day and moment. Live with no regrets!

My little Payton Mai is 6 months old today! I can't believe how fast that half year has gone! As you can see we have alot of fun with her. She has such a fun personality.

Some things about Payton are:

1-She is so happy every morning when you get her out of her crib

2-She has a very big cute smile and shows it often.

3-She loves being carried around by Jackson & Ashlyn & her cousin Hadley

4-She has a yell/scream she does to get our attention (she's #4)

5-She sucks her thumb like Brinley and it is adorable

6-She has slept thru the night since 6 weeks old

7-She likes watching tv (Jackson says especially sports!)

8-She only cries when she is tired, hungry, or otherwise needs something. She is a good baby

9-She is almost sitting up on her own

10-She is a Daddy's girl like the other two girls.

Some of her nicknames so far are: "P" - Sweet Pea -Payts - Payt - Princess P - Lil P - bubs - bubbles - Sis.

She had her 6 month doctor appointment on Friday and she weighs 14 lbs 15 oz and is 27 inches long. That puts her in the 25th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height. Almost exactly the measurements that Ashlyn was at 6 months. She reminds me alot of Ashlyn as a baby.

Todd Family Cabin Trip!

We had another fun Todd Family cabin trip. I can't believe we have been doing this for 9 years now. The first year we did it Jackson was 6 days old. Now 4 kids and 9 years later it is still such a blast. We look forward to it as much as Christmas I think! It is so much fun to spend the weekend with all of my family and reconnect! You keep up with everyone but its fun to just hang with everyone and the kids love being able to play with their cousins and develop strong relationships. I am so grateful for such a great family and wonderful parents who raised us to be such great friends with each other.

Happy Birthday to Jackson. He turned 9 years old yesterday. It seems like yesterday that he was a newborn baby, how could that be 9 years ago? From the beginning he was such a sweet mello easy going baby. He is such a sweetheart even now, he is so loving to me and to his sisters. I am so blessed to have him as my son. Last Friday we had a party and he invited 9 of his friends to come over for a "late over" it was alot of fun!!! We had pizza, played games, opened presents, watched a movie played the wii. I was so impressed by his friends. It made me so happy to know he has such great friends.

This year we had 2 season tickets to the Utah games. Most of the games I let Jackson go with Dave because it is hard to find anyone who wants to watch a baby for 6 hours. All year I had told Jackson he could probably go to the BYU vs. Utah game because I am definitely a fair weather fan!! Well it was nice weather and I was torn a little because my mom had offered to watch the kids. But in the end I decided that it was too big of a pain to take the kids to Logan and I couldn't disappoint Jackson. They went and had a great time. He was so excited and I was glad he was able to go. After the game they stormed the field and got some pictures with some of the players, and some of them gave Jackson some of their gear. We are so excited about the win a whole year of giving a hard time to all our BYU fan friends!!!

Brinley had surgery!

On Tuesday Brinley had surgery at Primary Children's Hospital to have her tonsils and adnoids out. She has always snored very loudly and has had strep quite a few times this year. On Tuesday morning we got there at 8:00 am and we were back home all done by noon. That hospital is so great! I am so glad there is a hospital like that so close to us. They are so great with the kids there. While there we saw a few sad cases that just make your heart break, and make you so grateful for such healthy children. Brinley was such a brave girl and was so amazing she didn't cry once. When we got home and gave her the lortab for the pain, and about 20 minutes later she was buzzing all around the house. It hyped her up!! It was quite hilarious. She was running up and down the stairs, moving furniture, jumping, doing somersalts, etc. She is not normally such high energy so it was funny to see her that way. I am so grateful that everything went so well. She is such a little angel and I feel so blessed to have her as my daughter.

Today we took Jackson, Ashlyn, & Brinley and went to the Utah - Colorado State game. Utes won 49 to 16. Dave's cousin Lauren babysat Payton for us. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful! We have season tickets, but we only have 2 so we have to usually decide who gets to go. So it was fun for us all to be able to go. The seats are pretty good too 21st row near the endzone. Thanks to Shannon and Brandon for letting us use your tickets!!

Cast is Off & Flag Football

Ashlyn got her cast off this week. The doctor said it had healed great and she will not have to have surgery YEAH!!!! She was not real happy in this photo because it felt so weird. Her arm had been in that cast in a 90 degree angle for 4 weeks so it was a little bit of an adjustment for her. She still can't straighten it all the way. When they took the cast off we found out she had a nickle that had fallen in her cast at some point - it was pretty funny.

Jackson is playing flag football this year. It has been fun to watch. His favorite position to play is quarterback. Most of the kids on his team are kids from his baseball team so he has had a lot of fun seeing his buddies again. Lets hope the weather stays pleasant for a couple more weeks!!

It is amazing how fast kids make the time go by. The more you have the faster the time goes too I think. I can't believe that Payton is 2 months old today. She has brought so much love, fun, excitement, joy, and patience to our family. I love seeing how each of the kids love her and she loves them too. She is starting to smile which is so much fun. I don't know what we did without her!!! Our life has been so crazy since she was born, but we have enjoyed every minute of it. Well we could have done without a few of the doctors visits!!!

Brinley has a favorite blanket and she calls it her "dirty blankie". She has 2 that look almost the same, when she started loving this blanket I went and bought another like it thinking that she would have two and it wouldn't get so worn out and dirty!! She is obsessed with it this specific one and it is a little more "dirty" that the other. Before Payton was born we asked Brinley if she was going to share her blanket with the baby. She said NO! But we always find her laying down by Payton and covering both of them up with "dirty blankie". I love that she will share it and she loves to lay by Payton and talk to her.

As you can see in the first picture, Ashlyn broke her arm. We were invited to our friends house for a bbq on Aug 22nd, and Ashlyn was swinging on their swing set and jumped out of their swing and was going really high and landed on her back and elbows. She broke the bone right above her elbow and the bone slipped off the elbow joint a little. We are hoping that it heals itself or she will need surgery to fix it. She will have to have another x-ray after she gets the cast off Sept 24th. She is such an active little girl and is afraid of nothing (bad combo) This is her second broken arm. She broke the same arm 3 years ago Labor Day weekend!

Well the school year has begun again. I can't belive how fast the time has gone. I can't believe we have 3rd and 1st graders! They are both excited for a new school year and they both like their teachers. It is so wierd to have Ashlyn gone all day, but she is loving 1st grade especially going to lunch in the cafeteria.

Payton Mai Dial finally arrived on Saturday July 12th one day before her due date. I was supposed to be induced on Tuesday, July 8th, but the new IMC hospital was too busy so they bumped me for 3 days. Finally on Friday they started me at around 4:00 pm. It was the longest 3 days of my life. It was like postponing christmas for 3 days only 100 times worse. After much waiting and anticipating she was born early Saturday morning 12:47 am. It was a long night and we didn't get much sleep! The kids came up the next morning around 8 am and they instantly fell in love with her. They are so cute with her. She is such a good baby and we feel so blessed to have her in our family. Everything went really smoothly with delivery and we are adjusting to having a newborn around again, you forget how much work they are!!

All Star Baseball Player!

This year All-Stars was so much fun! It is always funner when you are winning!! They were only one game away from making it to the State tournament. The team was such a great team this year and they had 3 great coaches!! It was really hot sitting out at the games in 90 + degree weather and being 9 + months pregnant, but worth it! Jackson had alot of fun with all his teammates and has made some really great friends. He mostly played First base and pitched. He got alot of great hits, in one game he got to third base twice!! We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished this year!!

This year Jackson played baseball again. He had alot of fun and Dave helped coach his team. His team took 2nd place. They only lost 2 games. Last year they only won 2 games!! His team was the Astro's. He just finished his season with that team this week and he found out that he made the All Star team again this year. We are so proud of him and he has made alot of improvement this year. He mostly played pitch and 1st base. He really enjoys baseball and so do his parents luckily because it consumes alot of our time in the spring and summer!! Ashlyn and Brinley like going to the games also, probably mostly they like the snack shack!!

Ashlyn also played baseball this year. She did really good!! She enjoyed it and it was really fun to watch her. She didn't enjoy playing when it was cold she told me. We are so proud of her for sticking with it and having fun.

This year Brinley is playing soccer with some of her cousins. She is having a blast and she is really having fun playing with her cousins, Zack, Erik the twins pictured here and Caden he was in Arizona this game. It is so funny to watch them. Most of the kids on their team are 3 and they try their hardest but they are playing against 4 and 5 year olds sometimes.

On Wednesday, Feb 20 my sister Lisa and her husband Justin, welcomed her 2nd daughter. On Thursday, Feb 21 Dave's brother Mark and his wife Amy, welcomed his second son. Its not every day you get a new neice or nephew, but this week it happened!! We are so excited to have them both here. It was great how they timed it for us!! On Thursday, we had our ultrasound. We are having another girl. We are excited to have another girl. I love that my girls will have sisters. My sisters are my best friends and I am lucky to have 6 of them. The three girls are lucky to have a wonderful big brother like I did also. Jackson was a little disappointed, but he is doing great with it now. He is such a great big brother to Ashlyn and Brinley and they love him to death. I am now 20 weeks along and the time has flown by. I had better start getting things ready!!!

Every year my family goes to a cabin the first weekend in January for our Christmas party.
We all stay the whole weekend and we have a blast. We have been doing this now for 8 years. And the numbers just keep growing. This year I think there was like 35 of us. We play lots of games, eat lots of food, play a few tricks on each other and get no sleep. Oh and there are of course presents.

Well my brother Kevan was swinging Ashlyn and she was saying you are giving me a wedgie having a great time though!! So Brinley walks up and says I want a wedgie!! It was so funny. So they kept taking turns getting swung and getting a wedgie!! They love their uncle so much and love any attention he gives them. Even if it is him giving them a wedgie!!!

We had another great Christmas. It was so fun this year, we had my parents stay with us from Saturday until Tuesday. The time went by so fast but we packed alot of fun into the time!

On Monday we had to go to the store for a few items. Ashlyn comes down with her hands full of coins from her piggy bank & says mom can I buy something for Grandma with my money? We found a necklace at the store and she was so cute about it. So then Jackson comes over and says mom can I have 5 dollars? I said sure and he goes over and picks out a necklace for me. It was so cute how they were so excited about giving something to us. I think they were more excited about giving these to us than the presents they got. It was my favorite part of Christmas this year.

Jackson had his 8th birthday on December 11. I cannot believe he turned 8. It seems like yesterday he was little. I am excited for him for this coming year it is such a big step. He will be baptized on February 2nd and I am so proud of him. He is such a good kid. We are so blessed to be his parents. He is so smart and so obedient and a very thoughtful kid. We just love you so much Jacks. I went to lunch with him in the cafeteria at school, then when he got home from school we went to dinner at Salsa Leedos, we tried to go bowling but the wait was way too long so we did not go that night.

The other night we were in the car and Dave put on some music. Ashlyn apparently didn't like what he had chosen. She says dad, I need something with a little more pizazz, something more delightful! We laughed pretty hard. She is so funny, I really dread when she is a teenager if she is already fighting us over music etc.

Also, I was playing with Brinley this week in the morning when Ashlyn is in kindergarten. She said mom you go to time out. I said what did I do? She said you spilled (we were playing with her kitchen, she was making me dinner). So she took me through the whole time out routine. It was so funny and cute! She made me hug her and tell her sorry. I love that she is getting the purpose. I don't think I have ever put her in time out for spilling though! It kills me that she is getting so big and talking so much. I feel like I blink and the kids are a whole year older! No more blinking!!!

This year for Halloween Brinley was the princess Sleeping Beauty, Ashlyn wanted to be a bride, and Jackson was a NY Yankee Baseball Player. The kids were off track this year so it was great we could do what we wanted to all day!! It was still a very busy day. I love the ages that they are all at. They still love Halloween and love dressing up!

This picture is in Grandma Cathye's backyard. We were there on a Sunday for Birthday dinner and the girls were outside playing I made them pose for a picture for me. Their shirts say I Love Dad. They are such Daddies girls. You can see Brinley's bandage on her finger. The poor thing has had some bad luck in her short little life. She was on the bottom of the cart at the store and got her finger caught in the wheel and tore the fingernail almost completely off. It was not a good day. I am so lucky to have such wonderful, cute, loving, sweet little girls.
